What You Need To Bring Along In Your First Outdoor Paintball In WA

By Patty Goff

One of the best ways to have fun is by participating in a game of paintball with your friends. This will help you to bond, as well as spend some quality time together. So as to enjoy our first experience, you must be well prepared for the game. Here are some things which you should bring along to your first outdoor paintball in WA.

It is important to be properly dressed for the game. So that you are not too cold or too hot, it may be advisable to wear layers of clothes. You can then adjust your clothes depending on what you are comfortable with. Checking out the weather forecast a couple of days before will help you know the weather conditions you will be operating under. Layered dressing will also come in handy in helping you pad up, so that you do not feel the sting of the ball.

A hat will come in handy. It will help to break the impact of the ball when it hits you. It will also help to keep your hair free from paint. Find a hat that you are comfortable wearing. A hat can also help to absorb the sweat on your head when you are playing.

To protect your upper torso, wear a sweatshirt with long sleeves. A t-shirt may be comfortable but it is not ideal for this game. This is because it will leave a lot of bare skin exposed. Consider wearing a jacket or a hoodie for extra protection. There are paintball shirts, which cover up players quite well. If you can find them, then they will be the best option to go for.

You can also decide to wear gloves, so as to protect your hands. Avoid gloves which are too thick, as you may be unable to pull the trigger. Also, avoid gloves which are slippery, as you need something that will allow you to hold your gun with a firm grip.

The kind of pants you wear matter. Find something that will withstand harsh weather conditions and rough terrain. It should not fall apart when it comes into contact with thorns, rocks and other environmental elements. Dark pants are best as it will be easiest to wash the paint out of them.

The right footwear will help determine how well you do. The wrong footwear can get in the way and even cause you to fall and hurt yourself. Sturdy, closed shoes are ideal. Avoid shoes with high heels or open shoes as they do not provide your feet with ample protection.

Other things to carry include a change of clothes, which you will wear when going back home. You can also carry a sponge to clean your shoes. A towel or piece of cloth can be used to clean your equipment. Having some cash in hand will be useful as not all facilities accept credit cards when paying entrance fees. You can even tip your friend who offered to give everyone ride to the game.
