There are a whole host of things that you can do to reduce your scores and improve your performance on the golf course. In this article I am going to suggest three simple ideas, which if you put into action will help you on your way to better golf.
Step 1 - Make Sure You Get Prepared For Everything
This may seem obvious but ask yourself this, have you ever arrived at the course only to find out that you have forgotten something? The undoubted answer is yes.
People tend to perform better if they are well-prepared. Make a check list of equipment. Check your golf bag regularly to make sure all equipment needed are there and throw away anything that should not take a space there. By doing this regularly, you'll always have a clean and full-of-equipment bag.
Rearranging things in your bag is also important. Here are my tip: small things such as the tees should be put in one pocket. By putting them there you'll have an easy access when you need them. The main pocket should be the place for your wet weather gear. A plastic for the gloves is needed if you often play golf in wet conditions. Then prepare your car. Load things up. This task is especially useful if you plan to play golf early in the morning. By packing things at night, the next morning you have some more time to sleep while resting assured you will not forget any important things.

I have long been a believer in the importance of using the same golf ball every single time you play. I know that this may cost a little extra but the benefits are worth it.
By using the same golf ball, your short game, your putting will be improved. By using the same golf ball, you can get the same results from the same swings. If you use different golf ball makes and models, you may experience the inconsistency of the game.
