Many people have joined sports from tender age while others have come to perfect it as they progress in life. Sometimes you may come across an athlete and you wonder how they become famous and talented. This is seen mostly in the popular vitor shaolin ribeiro who has been in the field for some time. Being born in Brazil in the city of Rio de Janeiro in February 24 of 1979, he got a chance to become one of the recognized Jiu Jistu which is considered to be a sport that came from Japan.

This career became a reality to him when one kid in his school fought him and it was a traumatizing moment in his life. At only 14, he did not rest but decide to enroll in the martial art in his new school known as Nova Uniao. This is where he was given more chance to train on this career.

Although he was in a young age of 17 years, he was energetic and this offered him a chance to acquire school trophy in the championship category of Jiu Jistu. When it came to the other category preserved to the older people, he took second position and this was a very big deal to him and his peers. At 18 years he also achieved a lot because he was able to break a past record in Black Belt division. From here, he proceeded to the famous Brazil nationals.

This success did not end up here because also too three trophies which are considered huge in this sport world. From the year 1999 to 2001, he was the only winner in world championship thus making him more famous and successful. He decided to join the well-known MMA since he wanted to achieve more goals.

During his MMA career, he work and trained with professionals like the famous Darryl Gholar who was known to be a successful American wrestler. With this engagement, it proved to him and other people that he was the perfect person in this sport. He also offers his support to other fighters by training them on different techniques and this shows that he is ready to nurture upcoming sport men.

He has achieved a lot and it is good to recognize some of them. During the year 1998, he was able to take the silver medal which was in the world event. Also, he was able to get 2x Brazilian National trophies and this is a much contested category. Taking number 3 in ADCC is not something simple and it is good to appreciate the effort applied by this great athlete. It takes time and self discipline in order to achieve your expectations.

This athlete is also known for applying moves or techniques in his career. For example, in his MMA career, he is known to use his famous arm triangle. During the Brazil event, he is popular for using half guard techniques. All these are meant to power his moves thus making him a winner in different categories.

In this sport, there are different weight divisions and each person has a chance to choose one that they are comfortable with. For him he has been in the middleweight, the lightweight, and the featherweight. The athlete is known to prefer the featherweight because he knows he is perfect in this.
